Alex Miller Celebrates 15 Years At Dillanos

Alex began his journey at Dillanos as a Seasonal Packager and has since climbed his way up to Packaging Supervisor!

After all these years of eating, sleeping, and breathing coffee, Hannah’s takes first place as Alex’s favorite. “It’s got a smooth chocolatey flavor and tastes great black or with creamer. Also, it’s my wife’s name, so it gets bonus points.”

“Working with Alex for the past 15 amazing years is remarkable. I am always grateful I worked with him. Alex is so kind, always willing to help and accommodate you with what your needs. He is an amazing boss and best dad. My unforgettable memories working with Alex is we used to play jokes with other team members at the old building. Congratulations on your milestone and Thank you for all that you do at DCR.”

When asked which core value resonates the deepest with him, Alex chose Core Value #11: Serve Our Community and Each Other.

“DCR is a second family, and we genuinely want to help each other succeed. We go the extra mile for one another, not because we have to, but because we want to. We share a common goal for our customers, so why not help each other along the way? This also applies with our communities. Whether it’s volunteering, donating, or simple acts of selflessness, being kind and serving others can make a world of difference.”

“ALEX!! What can I say??!! Genuine. Humble. Caring. And frickin’ hilarious! Alex has become a dear friend and BROTHER over the years! Everything from sports talk, family talk, coaching talk, and dad talk, it’s a part of my day I look forward to when I hear Alex’s distinct footsteps first thing in the morning! Devoted to his family at home and here at Dillanos, it’s no surprise he has been successful here for so long and an amazing family man at home! Blessedto know him and thank God I don’t only work with him, but live life with him by my side and I beside him!”

Over the last 15 years, Alex has made countless memories, but one that stands out most is the lunch break basketball games at the old building.

“They were fun, competitive, and were an opportunity to bond with everyone.”

When asked what he appreciates most about that time, he shared that it’s the support and belief he has received from David, Chris, and the management team.

He says that as long as you are dedicated and work hard, you will be given every opportunity to grow within the company. Everyone can see that in the difference Alex has made at Dillanos over the years.

As for his PTO, it sounds like Alex’s kids have got the hankering for a little Disney magic. While their summer is already packed with fun plans, Alex says: “The kids keep seeing Disneyland commercials and bugging me to go back. We’ll have to see their end-of-year report cards before booking that.”

Alex, thank you for 15 years of helping people, making friends, and having fun. Dillanos would not be the same without you.

To the years to come, and Happy Anniversary!
