Enrique Celebrates 20 Years at Dillanos

Happy Anniversary Announcement Enrique Goldstrom 20 years

Help People. Make Friends. Have Fun.

When Enrique Goldstrom walks through the doors at Dillanos, there’s no mistaking the impact he’s made on the team, on the culture, and on the heart of what we do.

Enrique originally joined Dillanos as the Shipping & Delivery Manager before we merged with Atomic Distributing. Today, he serves as our Delivery Supervisor. For Enrique, it’s never just been about getting the job done; it’s about helping people, making friends, and having fun.

When asked which resonates most with him, Enrique didn’t choose one core value, he chose our mission statement:

Help People. Make Friends. Have Fun.

“…he’s the kind of person who greets the world with a smile and shows up for the people around him. He’s more than a friend; he’s family. Our kids have grown up together, and we’ve shared so many moments through the years.”

– Amber Amantea

A Culture of Family & Friendship

His philosophy is simple but powerful: “if we are family, we treat our customers as extended family”.  That same sense of family has gone into his life beyond the warehouse. He has become an “uncle” to many of his coworkers’ kids and has formed lifelong friends.

“One of my dearest and closest friends here made it to almost all my oldest son’s Varsity football games as well as was there to see my youngest son and I win a league Championship in youth football.  Our families also share family dinners and date nights on a regular basis. SHOUT OUT CHRIS PORTERFIELD!”

One of Enrique’s most treasured memories at Dillanos is a moment that speaks to his character. When David personally asked Enrique to mentor and train his son Dillon. That mentorship grew into a friendship that he cherishes deeply.

“He’s truly one of my best friends and little brothers… and now, full circle, I look up to him too.”

Coffee Recommendation

Enrique’s daily drinker is Howie’s Blend, both for the flavor and because it’s a tribute to Howard Heyer.

His all-time favorite brew? Macia’s, that was as he says, “the best coffee I ever had”.

What’s Next for Enrique?

Enrique plans to use his gifted PTO to take a well-deserved trip with his family, visiting his wife’s loved ones in Michigan and taking his son Graysen to the NFL Hall of Fame in Ohio.

“The absolute love from the top with Howie, Chris, & David all the way to my everyday co-workers across this whole building.  There is truly something different about working here.  The care in which everyone treats one another, and their families also is something I will never take for granted!”

Enrique shows us what being all-in truly looks like. His leadership, inclusivity, and energetic (and hilarious) personality have helped shape this place into what it is.

Happy 20 Years!

Same Coffee. Bold New Look.

Big news—our coffee bags are getting a makeover!

You’ll start to see our new packaging rolling out over the summer and into the fall. During this transition, your orders may include a mix of both the classic and updated bag styles. Don’t worry—it’s still the same carefully roasted, high-quality coffee inside.

Why the change?

It was time! Our new packaging better reflects who we are today—bold, approachable, and always focused on delivering incredible coffee.

Here’s a glimpse of what to expect:

We’re moving away from our traditional kraft bag for all coffees. In its place, you’ll start to see a more tailored look:

  • dedicated bag for our flagship coffee:  Dillon’s Blend
  • sleek black DCR bag for our blends
  • cream-colored DCR bag for our single origins and Limited offerings

HERE’S A SNEAK PEEK

JUST A NAME CHANGE- THAT’S ALL!

Four of our coffees are getting updated names. It’s still the same coffee inside—just with labels that do a better job of reflecting where the coffee comes from. Think of it as a small update that brings big clarity.

DCR – Brazil Sul de Minas

Previously known as: Fazenda Rainha
This dependable Brazilian favorite is now named for its growing region, “Sul de Minas,” one of Brazil’s most celebrated coffee-producing areas. It’s the exact same beans from Fazenda Rainha—just a name that better honors where it’s grown.

DCR – Ethiopia Natural

Previously known as: Fero Sidama
This is the same fruit-forward, naturally processed Ethiopian coffee you know and love—just with a name that better tells the story. “Ethiopia Natural” highlights both the origin and processing method, making it easier for customers to understand what’s in the cup at a glance.

DCR – Peru

Previously known as: La Familia Guzman
No changes to the coffee—still grown with care by the Guzman family. We’ve updated the name to “Peru” to reflect the origin more broadly, helping customers immediately recognize its roots while keeping the story just as meaningful.

DCR – Guatemala

Previously known as: Rio Azul Guatemala
Bright, crisp, and consistent—just like always. The updated name, “Guatemala,” keeps it simple and clean while staying true to the coffee’s source at the Rio Azul co-op. Nothing else is changing—just a more streamlined name for clarity.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Whether it’s a new look or a familiar bag, we’re proud to keep bringing you the coffee you know and love.
