Packager
WILLIAM CHARLOT
It did not take long for Will to make such a positive impact at Dillanos. He has such an encouraging and inviting tone around all he does. He said that most likely comes from his recent new hobby: yoga and meditation. That is something that he prioritizes every single day. He is also passionate about lifting weights, running and spending time with family. After work you can find him at the gym with his personal trainer (assuming he is listening to Shawty Like Mine by Chris Brown, his favorite song).
Will has had the opportunity to travel to the Philippians to visit family, but surfing all around the world is next on his Bucket List. Will also has a talent for photography! Currently he is taking senior photos for students but it sounds like travel and photos of the water would also prompt beautiful photos.
Prior to Dillanos, Will was a lifeguard and a Saucier at a local restaurant (YUM!). He has loved working at Dillanos for 8 months because of the DCR values and how genuine his co-workers are. The relationship that the Packaging team has keeps work so much fun!
Will said one of his very favorite quotes is, “Where laughter is present, love is not far behind”. Well said, thanks for all you do Will. We appreciate YOU!
Purchasing Coordinator
KRISTIN JOHNSON
Congratulations Kristin on your recent marriage to your best friend and husband, Kenyon! Kenyon & Kristin met at their kiddos school and tied the knot on March 21st, 2021. The most important thing that they spend time doing after work is family time. Their kids names are Kylie (17), Mattie (12) and Wyatt (9). They live in Enumclaw and love to go on walks along the local trails and hit the parks. They don’t have a pet yet, but as soon as they have a big enough back yard, they want to get a wiener dog named Pickles!
One of Kristin & Kenyon’s favorite dates is to explore nearby towns and appreciate what is in our own back yard. Recently they went to Gig Harbor and spent the day exploring . On the way back home, stop at Karma Indian in Puyallup for dinner (only 1-2 stars though please). It is important to them to appreciate the beauty around us. But, that doesn’t mean that they don’t have a countdown to their trip to Scotland next summer to attend a wedding in a CASTLE. It will be Kristin’s first time out of the country.
Something Kristin has recently become fascinated with is collecting crystals. They omit an energy that provide protection, concentration, focus etc. (Peep her headshot above with the crystals on her desk to help her focus). She currently has about 15, and typically purchases them from a small shop in Enumclaw called Magickal Earth Unique Boutique.
Inbound Clerk
DOUG BARSUGLIA
Doug loves all five of his dogs, Mexican food, R&B music and his Fiance, our co-worker, Dyanara!! They met while they were both at previous jobs, Dy started working her first in our packaging department and Doug followed a little while after. Their first date was rock climbing & Doug wasn’t sure if he would get another…. second one went well and the rest is history! They recently engaged and are hoping for a Winter wedding. Congratulations to two of our great employees!
Prior to Dillanos, Doug spent 18 months working for the Washington State Patrol. He completed arms training after graduation from the academy. We are lucky to have Doug on our team at Dillanos, but serving our community is still something that he is very passionate about.
He also really loves old Western movies. He has fond memories of hiking, camping fishing and hunting with his Grandpa and Dad in Sugarfoot, California throughout his childhood. They had a cabin that he loved going to and spending time with, and learning from the men in his family.
Graphic Designer
PAT DOHERTY
Proud Dad, former BMX competitor, talented musician and DCR Designer, Pat has many talents. His musical career began in the 5th grade when Pat started playing the flute at school. He was able to really bond with his mother surrounding all things musical. He later ended up attending the School of Arts in Tacoma where he had initially gone for drawing and painting but additionally learned how much he loved being in a band. Pat is currently in a band with four other members called the Wheelies. Pre Covid, the Wheelies were playing shows and working towards getting an album out. That is top of the bucket list for Pat! You can listen to their music HERE ON SPOTIFY . And, he writes some of his own stuff too. Show him some love and listen to his independent work HERE ON SPOTIFY.
Pat also loves BMX biking. He grew up racing and building jumps. Eventually, he became sponsored and traveled with mentor Jimmy Levan. Pat was riding and sponsored from about age 19-27. Then he decided to slow down and grow his family. He now has three young boys. His five year old son, Axl is now starting to ride with him!
Roaster
SETH ROTH
The most important thing to Seth after work right now is spending time with his family. He and his wife Irina are new parents to baby girl, Wyatt. Congratulations Roth family!
Seth is a signer-songwriter who loves alternative rock music. He described his taste as very “eclectic”. He was in a band for years and they had the opportunity to travel and play up & down the West Coast! The band is no longer playing music together but the talent is still there. I hear he may sing again at the Christmas party if you ask!
He also really loves watching old movies from the 30’s and 50’s as a way to unwind after work. All the films about classic Hollywood. One of his favorite restaurants is Thai Tom’s in University District, Seattle right by UW. This popular, cash-only restaurant is a go-to. He’s lookin’ for a lot of heat…. 5+ stars on his meal (nooo thank you).
As a roaster who is extra knowledgeable about the science behind all the science about coffee, he would love to visit origin. Ideally, he would love to visit Colombia and Ethiopia.
