The Edgar Martinez of Our Coffee Suppliers

Anyone over 35, and anyone who’s a Mariners Fan, knows that Edgar Martinez is the greatest designated hitter in the history of the MLB.  You needed a hit, Edgar was the man to get it done! 

At Dillanos we have a designated hitter of sorts too.  It’s the Pacayal producer group from Honduras started by… you guessed it… Edgar and his sister Karen.  These two siblings started Pacayal in the Comayuga Valley near La Paz, Honduras nearly 10 years ago. 

This producer group has everything we need from Central America, they have super clean washed coffees, sweeter than sweet honey coffees, and fruit bomb natural processed coffees. We’ve used coffees from Pacayal many of our blends and hope to launch the Honey Process as a single origin in the future.
